We won't be leaving for a few more days, but we want to get this website up and running. We also want to express our gratitude to the 43 different contribu-tors who have given financial support, and to the numberless masses who have encouraged us in so many other ways. It is humbling to get so much help from so many people.

Most of our time will be spent in Jinja, a 100-year-old city that has 106,000 residents. We will be staying with the family of Mark and Lori Manry, who came to Jinja in November of 2005. They are sponsored, in part, by the Rochester congregation, along with Spencer and Emily Bogle, who joined the Jinja team in October of 2004.

Our itinerary looks something like this: we will be leaving Detroit on Thursday, July 12, at 10:25 pm, but we are stretching our London layover to six days and will not arrive in Uganda until the morning of Thursday, July 19. We are scheduled to return to Detroit at 12:40 pm on August 12.

We have our passports, our shots, and our airline tickets. Now for the packing!
