Sendoff

This morning, the Rochester College community devoted its chapel assembly to our GEO program. Keith presided over a "sendoff," and our students bade final farewells to their classmates and friends. We gathered together with parents, as well, and Dr. John Barton led a prayer of blessing for the group. Just a dream for so many months -- and now it is happening!

With the approval of his doctor, Keith will be flying to Oklahoma with the rest of the group. It's hard to believe that he had back surgery just ONE WEEK ago, because he is pain-free and he is ready to fly! His doctor wants him to spend a lot of time walking -- what better place to fulfill that prescription than in the museums and cities of Europe!

We are scheduled to meet on the Rochester College campus at 5:15 Sunday morning; Sunday evening, we will begin our orientation sessions in Oklahoma City. We have a great group of students, and an exciting itinerary.
